wordpress and rework

My new website is in the works!  Holly Knott is my webdesigner and she is fabulous!  And Sarina Fiero designed my new headers and wholesale catalog- love!  I am deeply grateful for both of them.

I am switching my blog/website over to wordpress.  I cannot switch all of my posts from this blog to wordpress- so in a sense, I am starting over (little scary).  It really is a fresh new start.  I am adding a page for my gratitude project, A Hundred Thank-yous, where I will share everything that is going on with it.  I can hardly wait to get started!

This weekend my husband and I listened to the book REWORK.  I highly recommend it to any small business owner.  It reinforced my business beliefs and made me feel like I was on the right track.  I learned so much.  I realized that I tended to think of myself as so not a business person.  After listening to this book, I know that this is not true. I won't limit myself with that belief any more.

I just read a lovely tweet by Roots of She- trust that you did the best you could today. That was so good for me to read as I am finishing up for the day- a day that wasn't quite as productive as I would have liked.  It's okay.  I will trust that I did the best I could.  And now I will sleep peacefully :)

I just wanted to say that your art inspires my shy artist heart and as your business grows I hope that your artist heart knows that you are safe and loved by many people, just because you are you.

your life is overflowing now
with DAZZLE. MILK & HONEY. SUN.
i can't wait to see it all spill forward.

We're all holding you as you move literally and figuratively into new realms. It will only be more beautiful to see that you are following your heart and trusting that we'll all be there!

You post inspires me to remember that the journey and the learning always continue.

I love that you are finding your limiting beliefs and setting them free. Thank you for sharing that, because I think most of us feel like we don't have a lot of different skills, a huge one business. So, this feels huge and expansive that you are being opened to all of your gifts and what you are capable of might even surprise you. Just that is a gift to me.

Such a beautiful piece, Lori...

I'm in the beginning throes, at the moment, and I'm floundering in possibilities. What to tackle, where and how? How to make it a fulfillment of a need *gently*, without letting my salesmanship excitement get in the way. Before becoming a SAHM, I was in sales... and very good at it. I don't want to be that way for this- I don't want to catch prey, so to speak, but let it grow organically. I need to let my dream flow at the pace that's right for *it* and not push because that's what I was trained to do.

Thank you for your continuous inspiration and advice. <3

That is the perfect mantra Lori, and I think that I need to give that book a listen to. It is so inspiring to see how you are growing your business, I can't wait to see your new sites!! xo
