i was excited, warmed, delighted and so deeply touched to receive such a gift ... your work takes me to a place when i was younger ~ butterfly chasing ... groovy ... colourful ... imaginative ~ and how i love that so!

I am just catching up after weeks of barely skimming the blogosphere and can't believe I missed your Roots of She debut. It was glorious...and really nice...and so true. You know, Minnesota Nice is an actual saying here - an expectation among the people here that we'll keep our mouths shut and not rock the boat. Hard to shake when it's ingrained in you, isn't it? But I'm trying, too, to let my true colors show. Love you, sister...whether you're nice to me or not. :)
