I decided to make some more of my art angels for the holidays. The tag on them reads: art angels...sending blessings...making hearts a little lighter. I've made them before and I LOVE to make them but they take a really, really long time. They are so detailed and time consuming. So, for probably more than a year, I've been just waiting to see what I am supposed to do with them- stop making them? make the price higher? give them away? try to have them licensed? I've had an inspired idea to give one away for every one bought to someone who could use one, as a surprise gift. People could write me letters saying who could use one- someone who lost a parent or just got divorced or has been sick. But I just haven't been able to get my mind around how that would work yet.
Wishing everyone a Thanksgiving filled with abundant gratitude and happiness.

Oh, Lori, they're precious, really precious. I love your inspired idea...I've learned that when we follow those little inspired nudges, beautiful things happen. And open & expand. Trust your sweet heart--it always knows.
Have a beautiful, happy, warm, cozy, love-filled Thanksgiving.

That is always the challenge isn't it...to price, package and market our lovelies properly but all in the right spot.
I make what I call 'Nubbins', they are the gorgeus flat dolls with twigg crowns, I love them but I've yet to really show them loudly because I a)don't want them ripped off before I even have a chance to show they world they were mine and b)I feel like they are so precious to me I am nervous to let them out into the world and have them rejected...plus like your sweet angels they are tim consuming but when I put the price I want people just don't want to pay that....I know I'll have to take the leap someday and submit them to Art Doll Quarterly perhaps:D....good luck with your angels.
